ENVOY IS A CATALYST AT HOME AND ABROAD
CAPTAIN FAIRUZ SAKIRIN'S PROFILE
There is one man, an ordinary man, a young Malaysian
pilot Captain Mohd Fairuz Mohd Sakirin, who has the
passion of flying, and is taking the initiative to spread
the mission of peace through his plan to fly solo across
the Asia Pacific region in a single-propeller engine
aircraft. His concern for the future, world peace and
harmony has given him the drive and the responsibility
to carry out this mission.
Born on October 16th, 1976 in Kuala Lumpur, the 32-year-old
Captain Mohd Fairuz is a highly motivated and committed
charter plane pilot who received his flight training
in the Australian College of Aviation from 1999 until
2002. In his younger days, Captain Fairuz was inspired
by watching airplanes flying in and out of airport.
He held on to his dreams and made himself a full fledge
licensed pilot today.
This full fledge licensed pilot carried a strong spirit
and character through his college days. He was also
a member of the Malaysia Hall Youth Club. As a student,
he excelled in leadership qualities and was very active
in school.

On November 7th, 2007, Captain Mohd Fairuz was appointed
as the World Peace Ambassador by the International Association
of Educators for World Peace (IAEWP) in recognition
of his Fairuz Wings of Peace flights to foster the ideals
of humanitarianism through peace, solidarity, and promotion
of international understanding through universal peace
missions.
