IMAGINE, faces of peace, beautiful minds, open hearts and solidarity in peace in the world that belongs to everyone.

IF EVERY, individual, group, community, country and government were to take the extraordinary responsibility and be bound by an understanding that non-violence is a viable and rewarding way out of the race which emphasizes winners and losers, majority and minority, divide instead of unite, the world would then truly belong to everyone.

THE FAIRUZ WINGS OF PEACE is a project for a solo flight around the world in 2007. The patron of the project is the Honourable Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi. Its adviser is the Malaysian Minister of Tourism, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Mansor. The principal project supporter is Minister of Youth and Sports, Datuk Azalina Othman.

IT IS A MISSON OF PEACE, brought by a young Malaysian, Captain Fairuz Sakirin. who will attempt with a single engine propeller aircraft to fly longest in 120 days and farthest to 150 countries making 180 stops on 7 continents en route to 3 new world records as well as an accomplishment to become the 64th true solo pilot in the world.

THE MISSION 'S OBJECTIVE IS TO PROMOTE international understanding of non-violence for resolving conflicts so that social justice is obtained and development and progress will be sustained. The evidence of this objective will be a petition for peace containing the signatures of world leaders from the countries visited by Captain Fairuz. In associating the project with the Malaysian Ministry of Tourism, the project will take the opportunity to introduce Malaysia at the same time.

Captain Fairus has been named the a World Peace Ambassador and received an ward from the International Association of Educators for World Peace (AEWP) , a United Nations non-governmental organisation.

Captain Fairuz has completed a three weeks training at the Moorabbin Airport, Melbourne.

On the 26th August at Madarin Oriental Hotel Captain Fairus has been named the Breitling Brand's Ambassador.
